Transfer of Ownership

Only registered owners of Gorilla or Chimpanzee are entitled to customer service and technical support. If you decide to sell or give away a software license that is registered to you, please complete and return a Transfer of Ownership form. Until this form is completed and received by Jungle Software, the license will be considered property of the person or company to whom it is registered.

To transfer ownership of a Gorilla product license:

  1. Verify your registration by emailing support@junglesoftware.com or by calling Jungle Software at (877) 497-3301.
  2. As the currently registered owner, you must DEAUTHORIZE your copy of the software from all computers before transferring ownership. You can find instructions on how to do this in the Gorilla Guide (PDF manual).
  3. PDF Transfer of Ownership Form
    Download and print the Transfer of Ownership form using the link above and complete both the seller and the buyer sections. There is a $25 Transfer of Ownership fee.
  4. Have the seller and the buyer each sign the Transfer of Ownership form.
  5. Return the completed form to Jungle Software via e-mail to support@junglesoftware.com or via fax to (818) 459-9093

Transfer of ownership applies to the version of the product you currently own a license for, as well as all previous versions of that license. For example, if you first bought Gorilla version 3, and subsequently upgraded to version 4, and then decided to transfer ownership of version 4, you transfer ownership rights to all of your versions of Gorilla, up to and including the current version.

Not for Resale (NFR) copies of Jungle Software products are not transferable.
StoryO licenses, Koala Call Sheets and The Gorilla Ratebook are not transferable.

Thinking of buying a copy of Gorilla on eBay or from a reseller not listed on our site? Please exercise caution when buying our products from anyone other than a Jungle Software recommended reseller- you could get a pirated copy and may not be eligible for activation, registration or other support.

You can download fully functional copies of all our software on our free trial page. Because of this free evaluation practice, we do not offer refunds on software purchases.
